Are you ready for the super simple tutorial? There are only a handful of ingredients, and it will take you all of about five minutes to make. This is my kind of summer recipe.

Begin by peeling and chopping the cucumber and watermelon.

Place the watermelon, cucumber, sugar, and mint into the KitchenAid® Torrent™ Blender.

Watermelon + Cucumber Summer Slushie

Blend until incorporated on the Juice setting.

Watermelon + Cucumber Summer Slushie

Strain the mixture using a fine mesh strainer.

Watermelon + Cucumber Summer Slushie

Add ice and the strained liquid to the blender, and blend on the Icy Drinks/Smoothies setting.

Serve immediately with a sprig of mint for presentation.

Watermelon Cucumber Slushie

Makes 4 slushies

INGREDIENTS

4 cups watermelon (peeled and cut into pieces)
1 cucumber (peeled and cut into pieces)
1/4 cup mint leaves
4 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon lime juice
3 cups of ice

DIRECTIONS

Begin by peeling and chopping the cucumber and watermelon.

Place the watermelon, cucumber, sugar, and mint into the KitchenAid® Torrent™ Blender. Blend until incorporated.

Strain the mixture using a fine mesh strainer.

Add ice and the liquid to the blender, and mix.

Serve immediately with a sprig of mint for presentation.
