Mango Jalapeño Daiquiri
Makes 4 servings
1 ripe mango, peeled, seeded, and chopped
1/2 teaspoon finely grated lime zest
1/4 cup fresh lime juice
1/2 cup white rum, plus more to taste
2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
1/2 jalapeño pepper, ribbed and seeded, plus more to taste
4 cups crushed ice
Place all the ingredients except the crushed ice in the blender jar of the KitchenAid® Pro Line® Series Blender. Secure the lid and set the Blender to the Adapti-Blend™ Juice program. Blend until machine turns itself off. Alternatively, blend for 40-60 seconds, starting on speed 1 and gradually increasing to speed 10 or 11, until smooth and creamy.
Fill four tall glasses with 1 cup crushed ice, and pour 1/2 cup of the mango mixture into each glass. Stir to combine well, and serve immediately.
