Green Energy Smoothie
Makes 2 servings
1 1/2 cups coconut water or water
1 teaspoon finely grated lemon zest
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
1 cup torn-up kale leaves (or baby spinach)
1/2 cup firmly packed mint leaves
1 medium banana (not over-ripe)
1/2 small avocado, peeled and pitted
1 1/2 teaspoons minced ginger
2 cups frozen pineapple
Throw all of the ingredients into your KitchenAid® Pro Line® Series Blender in the order listed above.
Set the Blender to the Smoothie Adapti-blend™ program and it will blend until smooth and creamy.
